after a year of knitting on this guy on-and-off, i am proud to say that mitered squares is finished! and i don't think i could be happier with how it turned out!
i bought the yarn originally to make a sweater, and after four years of not working on it, i frogged what little progress i had made and embarked on the mitered square journey.
it was my homage to all the beautiful mitered square blankets found in and around the wonderful world of mason-dixon knitting (rav link). mine is slightly different, in that i used self-striping yarn and did my squares in garter stitch. it's also smaller in size, being just under 3' square, making it perfectly sized for snuggling up babies.
