the sweatshop is getting closer and closer to closing down for the year. all i have left is to finish up a face cloth for my mother-in-law, socks for brian (which i plan to knit on in the car on the 14 hour drive to tennessee), one more tiny item for lily, and to embroider two tea towels for brian's grandparents.
here's what i've finished up in the last couple days:
a hat for lily's doll. it matches the hat i made her with maya's beautiful handspun yarn.
coffee sleeves (pattern or rav link) for a couple of my lovely local let's-go-out-for-coffee friends. (this is a great, fast, last minute, yet thoughtful, eco-friendly pattern - i highly suggest it if you're in a pinch!)
and a snowbaby bib (pattern or rav link) for brian's cousin's new baby. (the horse, which is also part of the gift, is from the amazing gunther keil's wild apples shop.)
now i have to go fold laundry so we have clean clothes to pack for our trip - we leave tomorrow morning!

That doll is going to be a fashion icon! And I love the bib too! Have a good trip and hope you get your socks knitted. I'm aiming to knit a pair for Mr JK between tomorrow 8am (when he leaves for work) and midday Christmas Eve (when he's home from work). Fingers crossed I get it done! Happy Christmas!

You productive woman!! I have three more items to finish, but am thinking my mum's shawl won't get done. It is the only one that isn't a surprise so I think that will be ok (she asked for it and picked the yarn herself).
Have a safe trip!

Those gifts are all so lovely. I still have 2 hats to knit and I don't have yarn or a pattern picked out for one of them. yikes!

I'm sort of amazed by all that you are getting done! It all looks great, but I have to say that the snowbaby bib is very cute (good thing I don't have babies to knit for or you'd have added another pattern on my list...safe for now!). Be safe in your travels and have an amazing holiday season with your family!!

these are such adorable gifts! I love that little hat for Lily's doll and the bib is so cute!
I'm wishing I drank coffee so that I could have an excuse to make a cute cup warmer like that.
