project "mittens take new york" was so much fun!
and your dishcloth is so good- you are such the master embroiderer!

I noticed the mittens in claire's post - but these pics are so cute. Love the one with the flag above you :)

Great photos! My wrist warmers didn't have nearly so much fun in Poland!

sonia

What a great way to show off the mittens! I'm sure they enjoyed the trip!

 Brenda

Love seeing the mitts around NYC, they look like they're having a lot of fun!

Mary de B

As the only Canadian without a pair of those, I am happy to see that they had a blast in NYC. The bottom picture especially is great!

Rebekah

love those mittens! your traveling shots of them are so cute!

What a fun swap...your dishcloth turned out great!

SNOOPYDOG

What a great swap! Looks like you had a whole lot of fun in NYC! Ros

Love the mittens - I'm kind of obsessed with them too, despite my utter lack of need for mittens in central Texas. The shots of the mittens' adventures are such fun.

Rachel

That seems like the perfect swap for you two (and that dishcloth is fabulous)! It's so fun to see just how excited you were about the mittens (well, those combined with a great friend get together and the winter olympics!)...such a cutie! ;)

melinda

I'm drooling over those mittens! I've seen them in the Olympic coverage, but I had just resigned myself to never having any. And now my heart aches with Canadian mitten longing. Darn you and your adorable and fun pictures!

I guess I'll have to live vicariously through you :)

Hi melissa! I'm trying another post, the last one didn't 'go through'. I'm so happy you're so excited about your red mittens. I was excited to find them & send them to you! I really did not expect a wonderful gift in return. But was super excited when I went to the mailbox the other day and found your package! I whooped when I saw the New Orlean Saints dishcloth!!!! I couldn't believe my eyes. It is perfect and now is in it's place of honour, hanging on the wall above my stove (just so I can look at it all the time). You did a beautiful job of it, esp. love the embroidery. Thank you!! And what can I say about the mini helmut??? I have died & gone to heaven, melissa! I finally now own my very own Saints helmut!!!! I'm so thrilled :D

I'd have to say this was most exciting exchange I've ever done!! How can we top this? note: I just heard on the news tonight that the red mittens have sold out.

I loved all your NYC pics, it reminds me of the travelling gnomes. Great pics!!

Kim

Me again. Are you sure you're not Canadian? ;-)
