ye olde holiday sweatshop

with the holidays looming ever nearer i have decided to stop lollygagging about and produce some knitted gifts.

first up we have a cité cowl (by anne hanson, pattern or rav link) for lily's teacher.

next up is a little scrappy cat (pattern by heather hoefle - rav link).  this is the first of three that i'm planning on making for some sweet little girls in my life.  (isn't it just the cutest little pattern ever?!?)

and what does a little girl with a little cat need?  why a little bag to carry said cat around in!

i just made this pattern up as i went along and was completely tickled to realize how jackie o-ish it ended up looking.  i totally think that if jackie o. had owned a tiny knitted kitty she would have kept it in a bag just like this one!

okay, i gotta run, i don't get very long breaks from the sweatshop... back to work for this little elf!

oh my goodness that little kitty IS the sweetest thing! and that most assuredly is exactly the bag that jackie o would carry a sweet little kitty in!
and man is lily's teacher a lucky duck! the cowl is completely gorgeous and i am sure she'll absolutely love it!

i'm definitely an elf over here. i have a long list yet to accomplish, but i have a list/schedule thingy that looks like it might be manageable. today was pretty productive, so i'm feeling positive about the whole affair.
i'm impressed that you have time to blog. i can craft and photograph and communicate on ravelry and flickr, but no time to blog lately.
