i am one toe decrease section away from finishing my turkish bed socks (pattern rav link). they've been on the needles since august and i'm excited to finally have them finished.
so what did i do last night? finish them up?
noooooo..... instead i did this:
i totally cast on for another neat ripple afghan (pattern rav link). my "reasoning" was that my nephew isaac's first birthday is less than a month away so i needed to get started.
but the truth is i have been desperate to get back to the ripples... i am completely and helplessly addicted.

I think Florence might 'need' a rippled blankie!!

we lead parallel lives. i have had my poor turkish bedsocks on the needles for AGES but am equally addicted to making ripple zigzaged blankets. i just finished mine yesterday and am already scheming who the next one can be for. i say bring on the ripples! besides, turkish bedsocks are more spring/summer fare anyway, right?

Oh I love those Turkish bed socks...the colour is so nice. But then I look at the ripples, and they just look fantastic!

Ah, the fickle love of a yarn crafter :)

I'm sure every single one of us has the same problem...over and over and over. ;) I'm fascinated by the construction of those socks...
I can see how the ripple blanket would be addictive which is why I am not even considering starting one despite you tempting me again and again with delicious color combinations. I stand firm.
