Remember how Melissa told us that, just inches away from the end of her bedsocks, she got lured back into the highly addictive world of ripples?
Well, upon reading that post of hers I intentified with her completely. I started some bedsocks of my own way back in May that have sat around since then, and I too have been wrapped up in the wonderfully delicious ripple world as well...
so you'd think that seeing Melissa's post would encourage me to continue with the rippling madness but, to my surprise, it had the reverse effect of inspiring me to finally finish the bed socks!
The biggest problem with waiting eight months to finish a knitting project?
Well it seems my sizing might be a little bit off. I guess my stitches are a bit looser these days amidst the Alpine breezes.
What about you? Any projects you've been putting off finishing for a long time?

love love love that second photo! you're totally adorable.
and aren't you always claiming that one of your feet is larger than the other? just say you did this on purpose.

Now I must knit myself bedsocks, just to have that photo of my feet sticking out like that! I have had sweaters sit around in pieces for *years* because I couldn't bring myself to sew a few seams.

Hi Claire! So good to see you! Totally adorable in that second photo! Yay for finishing up projects that have been sitting for months! And yay for very pretty ripple blankets. Between you and Melissa, so much tempting going on.
I have several projects I've been putting off...but since coming out of the field last fall have slowing been checking them off the list...finishing up a hat now and then moving on to the 3 biggies (a sweater, a hooded cardigan, and a coat).

Well I'll join the parade of loving the 2nd picture!
That is quite a difference in gauge. Clearly you are happier and more contented. And I have one foot is bigger too so I'd totally take Melissa's advise!

You are darling!
I'm digging the ripple/zigzags. Hooray for finishing up your bed socks, but I have to ask, what about your ankles? Do they get cold? I don't know what got into me but the last few years I have had to wear sock to bed. -Even in the summer. Weird, I know.

cute cute knits, my dear. i do have one mitten on the needles awaiting a thumb. i'd like to knit the second before my gauge goes wonky, but i dread picking up stitches. even a few for the thumb gives me pause. a long, long pause.
