now that packages that were mailed to far off destinations have been opened i can share publicly the last few sweatshop gifts.
first up is a baby bib o' love (rav link) for sweet baby mateo:
lily also did some crafting for baby mateo, remember her short but passionate affair with fabric markers? well she also made mateo a onesie covered in bunnies:
and last but definitely not least is a little laura ingalls doll that i crocheted for sabrina:
i used the garden friend gnome pattern (rav link) for the basic shape and then just fiddled around until i got the little laura details right.
i hope the books and doll work their magic and sabrina falls in love with little laura, because i live just two hours east of walnut grove, mn and then i can lure them up for a little house on the prairie themed visit!

Everything you and Lily do is so special. It's obvious you put a lot of thought into each gift you make/give and to me, that is even better than the actual gift (although those are awesome as well!). Love the little photo patch detail on Mateo's bib...perfect!

Such wonderful gifts. Love the bib, love the bunny onesie, and the little Laura doll is just perfect. I loved those books and the TV show too. I used to hurry home on a Thursday after school to make sure I didn't miss one minute!!

Laura is working her magic. At dinner tonight Sabrina told me a story that took place in a little log cabin in the big woods.
I LOVE matoe's big and onesie, so cute!

Wow that doll is stunning! I've done a handful of toys, but never tried a doll. Yours are so inspirational though! The bib looks great too (I love the little patch!), and everything Lily does is so cute! :)
