After a few false starts I am almost finished with Tubey. (Why must I always relearn that swatches are oh so important?) But thanks to two business trips this month and lots of in-flight knitting time I am nearly finished (again!).
Why nearly? Why not just do the last three pesky tasks to finish up? Partly because the sweater it a little snug in the belly area.
But I prefer to blame this awesome book that just arrived in the mail.
And I blame this pretty impulse purchase I bought before I even saw the book.
What do you think? Should I just suck it up and finish tubey or dive in to the new loveliness?

Finish it! You know it'll give you some relief, even if you never wear it or decide to frog.

I understand your dilema. The new yarn looks yummy!
I looked at the Tubey pattern and am curious what size you made and what size it will fit. I like fitted but not skin tight and am having trouble deciding if this is a pattern I would make for me. Of course, daughter would wear it in a heartbeat if I won't. haha

I love some of those patterns in the Knit Swirl book. Anne Hanson did a review of it some time back and several of the cardigans caught my eye. I know what I'd do - cast on!!
