all can breathe a sigh of relief, i have crocheted enough granny squares to make it until april's square-a-month square without having a granny square obsession meltdown.
don't judge me, but in order to calm my internal granny square beast i had to knit an entire afghan in eight days. (this one's for a silent auction at lily's school.)
had to. seriously, i couldn't stop.
all those colors, all those sweet little squares... oh granny square, how i love thee...
let's talk about something else, shall we? if not i may be overcome and have to make another one...

THIS IS STUNNING! Really Melissa, I am in awe of not only the visual coolness here but the speed at which you hooked it. The colors are fantastic. I agree with Josiekitten, I see a bit of "lady! you need to make one of these bad boys for me meow (now)!"

Holy holy cow. A blanket in 8 days is just crazy...crazy in a good way though! It's a beautiful blanket..probably my favorite of all the crocheted ones you've done. I think it's the mixture of small squares and big squares. I LOVE that last picture!
