This past summer, I was introduced to agate hunting as well. Even my husband loves it. So much in fact, this past weekend, he bought a rock tumbler to see if we could polish them up. I'm anxious to see all the pretty rocks and agates once the tumbler is done with them! Your "impressive" agate is beautiful!!!

That looks like a fun way to pass an hour or so. I like Lily's heart shaped pebble - great find!

Sounds like us and our hunt for beach glass.

What a gorgeous spot to spend time after school - wonderful!!

How lovely, what a great pastime to share with your daughter.

This looks so fun! I always collected rocks when I was little, but I don't really know much about them or the different types.

what a precious afternoon to spend together! you found some beautiful rocks but more importantly created some wonderful memories. warm fuzzy all around.
