The first thing I saw was the picture and immediately I thought - Look, she's matching again!!

I have not heard of Iain Banks before! Thanks

Yay for the red scarf!
I just about typed "read" scarf....which is applicable because this is your ginny read/knitalong!
I'm just full of surprises this morning!

Great co-ordination! I love the scarf;it looks very warm and snuggly. Rosx

I am intrigued by Ian M. Banks. I will have to add this to my list of things to read. I love the scarf, the texture and the great cause :)

That scarf looks awesome! It might be just the pattern for a Christmas present I'm thinking about..

You always post such intreging books. I'm putting this on my list!
Beautiful scarf too!

So which comes first? The colour of the yarn or the colour of the front cover? It does make a pleasing photo! Glad you are still enjoying Banks. Certainly got a few to read yet.Have a great weekend.

I am not a fan of sci-fi, but I have read a couple of books by Iain Banks - The Wasp Factory was an interesting read! Love the scarf.

there's nothing like a great book and some beautiful knitting. i love your dedication to the red scarf project, so wonderful!

I'm supposedly knitting on the gray sweater. Henry pulled out the needles from the project and then actually pulled the cable out of the interchangeable piece I was on one side of the front and putting in more decreases and I stopped right where I put the project down to haul Henry out of the car for our picnic on National Mall. So I don't know where I was...but I'm trying to figure it out. Anyway, I have book 5 of Song of Ice and Fire on audio here. I read it but I think I read it too fast just to see where the plot was going. So I want to listen to it again.

love your red scarf and matching book. i wish i loved sci fi more...
