How great that you got to spend time crafting with your friend! The blanket is beautiful, I must dig mine out of hibernation one of these days. Miss Lily looks so grown up with her new hair cut!

Oh my, it's beautiful!

Oh Melissa...what a fun little trip! Love blankie...it looks just great!

So that is the secret to finishing a project. Take all unfinished projects on long car trips. Your blanket is fabulous and appeals to my love of things lining up (although, I don't seem manage it as much as I would like to.) Happy holidays!

Gorgeous! and the most impressive thing in my opinion is all the ends are woven in. That is just amazing!
Looks like a fun trip!!

That is gorgeous, very striking. How clever are you?

BLAAAAAAAAANKIEEE!!!! how wonderful it is to see you! and how gorgeous you are!!! wowza!!!
it looks like an absolutely wonderful getaway and the fruits of your red sashing were worth every stitch! so beautiful!!!

i'm jealous of so much here: fun road trip, hanging with a crafty mom friend (Blair, specifically, is awesome), kids that can play with other kids so i could potentially craft, knitting time in the passenger seat, and that gorgeous blankie! what an awesome trip!!
