I'm reading a 'light and frothy' book I bought whilst on holiday in Ireland recently, written by a local author. Trying to knit Mr JK a pair of Christmas socks. Hopefully I'll get steaming on them properly next week!

Not much time for reading at present, but have just finished The Bees by Laline Paull. Loved it!!! Ros

I am reading Avenue of Mysteries by John Irving. And knitting..... um.... well I'm thinking about knitting a shawl. But I don't have a pattern.. or needles...BUT I think I'm going to use some yarn Bruna gave me a long time ago, I just have to find it.

I'm impressed that you're still making a blanket for bundles of joy with a wee one around! You're amazing and so dedicated! I'm reading the Irving book too but I only ever read when I'm putting J to sleep so I usually only get a few pages in before getting too sleepy myself.

Does it count that I'm responding to this almost a month after the fact? ;) Seriously Melissa, I'm super impressed you can do anything with a 4 month old around!

I seem to have lost my knitting mojo lately. I'm not too concerned and am sure it will come back eventually. I've been spinning instead for the most part with a row or two on Element by Kristen Johnson when I'm in the mood. Reading: The Jump-Off Creek by Molly Glass. Set in the homesteading days in my neck of the woods, it's a pretty interesting tale of a female homesteader making it on her own. Love that I know the names of the towns and streams and creeks and hills...
