so we got hit with a bit of a blizzard over here in minnesota this past weekend. and while mankato didn't have anything as dramatic as our stadium's roof collapsing, we did get sacked with a bunch of snow and a lot of blowing wind.
we ventured out saturday to attend the nutcracker, but other than that, we stayed snuggly inside our house. i didn't take pictures during the actual snowstorm (clarie's already yelled at me, sorry clarie) but i stuck my head out both doors yesterday to snap some aftermath shots.
all that time spent indoors gave me time to work on my holiday sweatshop giftlist....
a pair of dishcloths - the morse code (rav link or pattern) and the tweedish cloth (pattern or ravlink).
and a pair of fetchings (pattern or ravlink).
alright, enough with the chatter - it's back to work for me!

That is a lot of snow! We are just getting a wee bit in Toronto.
That Tweedish cloth is really nice -- I've only made one, but think it is a great pattern and plan on more!

So much snow - we'd come to a complete standstill over here! You always manage to find some lovely dishcloth patterns! Now stop reading this comment and get back to your knitting!
PS Any sign of the parcel yet?

Oh, lovely snow and sunshine!
Great job on the knitting, too.

Wow, that is a ton of snow! Did you have enough emergancy chocolate in the house to see you through the blizzard? I love the morse code cloth, what does it say?

ooh ooh aftermath shots! perfect! your knits are perfectly scrumptious as well- there's something about knitting while it's snowing outside that makes the knitwear especially wonderful, i think. i love that orange yarn. yum!

With another storm dumping on us, I'm not as envious as others at your snow pictures! But I've been warm and snuggly during the worst of it so can sit back and just appreciate the beauty!
You have been in my mind as I knit yet more ballband dishcloths for gifts this year...feeling guilty that I don't move on and try other patterns like you. So I may make a personal challenge to knit one dishcloth per month, each a different pattern this year. A tribute to you maybe? ;)
