My awesome Aunt Pat cleared out a bookcase and invited Sabrina and me over to see if we would like any of the children's books up for grabs. Pat is a retired elementary teacher and book lover. Lucky for us her grandchildren are too old and/or have a house full of books. We had a great time reading and playing and literally came home with a trunk full of books.
And puzzles and even some new paint brushes. Sabrina loves to paint so she insisted we use the new brushes first.
There is only one thing she loves more than painting with brushes.
That is painting with her hands.
Thank you Aunt Pat!

Yay for books and paint!
I am continually amazed at how big she's gotten each time you post! I love her cute little curls and the grin is precious.

oh i love love LOVE everything about this post! nothing makes me happier than the joy children get from creating art, and your sabrina earns a trophy for all-in, completely submerged enjoyment!
PLUS the absolute best children's books are those that have been loved and read and reread and wrinkled and worn in elementary school classrooms. those are the most precious kind!

fun, fun! i'm a little jealous, too. Henry doesn't like finger painting. the texture on his hands is too much for him so ALL of the paint ends up on his clothes instead :)

I do hope there was some glitter in there somewhere! Sabrina looks like she is having loads of fun!
