joining up with ginny at small things for the weekly yarn along.
this week has found me thoroughly enjoying myself as i knit up a pile of dishcloths (these are for a gift, so i can't show you any more specifics), and reading my books for lily's book club.
this month she chose wolves of beyond - frost wolf and i chose children of the noisy village by astrid lindgren. lily has finished both of them already, but i'm only half way through frost wolf. bookclub doesn't meet until next week though, so i should be able to make it!

i did about 1/2 dozen dish clothes the other week, so nice and fun to knit.
didn't astrid write pippy longstockings? i am going to have to look that up.

i wish Henry and i could discuss the finer points of Curious George. why does the man in the yellow hat keep leaving the monkey alone while telling him, "don't get into trouble," ?? come on!

speaking of book club, we gave Henry the skippyjon jones book for his birthday. he requests it about 6 times a day and recites parts of it, too. thank you for introducing me to it.
