We have been reveling in the quintessential spring Texan stuff going on here recently.

Rodeo

Yes, that is a small child riding a bucking sheep.  No, Sabrina didn't participate.

This ride was more her style

-speaking of style, she enjoyed the rodeo bling

We also reveled in the explosion of bluebonnets

We are enjoying being ....deep in the heart of Texas.

i think we're finally full-on into spring here, although there's still talk of possible snow monday, so who knows... busy raking out the garden beds and such.
have eaten a couple meals outside, and had the first backyard fire of the season over at the brown's last night!

What a beautiful photo of Sabrina with the lupins (I had to look up what we call 'blue bonnets' in the UK!) I love the fact that the garden is starting to sprout with new growth. Our tulips are just starting to open. And of course the birds singing noisily outside first thing in the morning!

oh she is just so gorgeous. and what a lovely introduction to spring! did she get the cowboy boots?
we are enjoying spring over here too! the sun is finally out and the tulips i planted last fall are blooming- yay!
